Gitaine here!! Yesterday was our last day in Switzerland :( We said our goodbyes to the Cramers (Sandy's cousins) and boarded the train. We had some minor issues with the train, one being our luggage was rather big. The other was that our train stopped too short of our destination. That was no problem, we bought some more train tickets at only 1 Euro each! when we finally got to the mainland in venice, we boarded a vaporetto (water taxi) and took a 45 minute trip to our hotel. We were sailing on the Grand Canal, so we were able to use our handy Rick Steve's Tour Guides on our Ipods. It made the experience a whole lot better. Venice sure is beautiful at night. When we arrived at our hotel after walking through the maze of alleys, we took off our shoes and relaxed. Thanks for reading, I hope to see you soon!
